Given that I have been away from the place I still call home for over a year I thought it was about time to write to let people know what I have been doing. Anybody that knows me can appreciate how bad I am at sending letters or even keeping in touch on a frequent basis. I really don’t like talking over the phone and don’t particularly want to be sat on a computer writing all evening either. My friendship ethos is much more one that reads, “Let’s meet up when we are around and hopefully pick up from where we left off”. Of course the occasional facebook message is a good filler though.
I hope the style of this newsletter is palatable and most importantly you actually enjoy reading it. I decided rather than summarising the whole last year, I would just pick the most memorable days and try to expand on them a little as to give you an insight into my insights and what was going on around that time. Note that there have been highs and lows of last year but I thought it best to leave out the lows along with some other stories, left out for different reasons. I think you all know the big picture anyway.
